BIG BROTHER 8's NICK STARCEVIC'S SHOCKING NEW GAY-ESCAPADES

Apparently there has been more homo-hinjix in the Big Brother 8 house with "straight" Football player Nick Starcevic and his gay housemates including Nick's Top 5 Guys he said he'd have sex with, as well as alleged gay-massages. According to Gay Socialites:

Nick Starcevic is definitely this year's Big Brother heart throb and it also seems that he using that as a part of his strategy. But how could a straight guy be so comfortable with his gay tendencies?

As we mentioned before in the article titled, "Big Brother's Nick Starcevic has a gay past," Nick admitted to giving oral sex to another guy.

Now, there is even talk that Nick let Dustin massage him down below (through his clothes of course) and he even let Dustin's ex-boyfriend Joe "dry hump" him.

Gay Socialites has incriminating video after the jump...

LESBIAN CAST AS NEW PRESIDENT ON HIT TV SERIES "24"

Out-and-Proud lesbian, and Uber talented actress Cherry Jones (above left with girlfriend/partner Studio 60's Sarah Paulson) has been cast as President Allison Taylor on the 7th season of Fox's Emmy Winning series 24. After Elton has all of the poop:

Fox did not reveal any details about the character, but Jones will be the show's first female commander in chief. Critics are already noting that the casting coincides with Hillary Clinton's presidential candidacy, but Fox Entertainment Chairman Peter Liguori insisted the show intends no comment on real-world politics. That's lucky for Hillary: Previous presidents have not fared well on 24, facing everything from air attacks to assassination and rarely serving a full term.

Although fans of 24 may not have heard of the 50-year-old actress, theatergoers know Jones as a major Broadway star. A Tony Award-winner for The Heiress (1995) and Doubt (2005), Jones has also had television and movie roles, most recently in Ocean's 12 and The West Wing.

AfterEllen.com readers may know her best for the 2001 Lifetime movie What Makes a Family, based on the true story of a Florida lesbian mother’s fight to maintain custody of her child after the death of her partner (played by Brooke Shields).

Jones grew up in Paris, Tenn. She attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania, making her Broadway debut in Stepping Out in 1987. Her myriad other theater credits include Angels in America (1993), A Moon for the Misbegotten (2000) and Faith Healer (2006). She has been called the finest stage actress of her generation, eliciting comparisons to Helen Hayes and Colleen Dewhurst. Onstage, she is magnetic, somehow simultaneously warm and intimidating. Her theater work will undoubtedly serve her well as she moves into the fictional Oval Office.

With the 24 casting news, Jones becomes the only openly lesbian actress in a prominent role on a prime-time network show next season.

The last woman to hold that honor was Jones' girlfriend, Sarah Paulson (Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip). (Clearly there's some sort of unwritten network rule that limits the number of out actresses on prime-time television to one. At least Jones won't have to travel far for the torch-passing ceremony.)

Most websites and wire stories reporting the casting news do not mention that Jones is a lesbian. Jones herself has always been open about her sexual orientation. She even told the San Francisco Chronicle that her first crush was Julie Andrews.

She played a lesbian in the 1993 play And Baby Makes Seven, kissing her co-star onstage. Twelve years later, she and Paulson shared a kiss on national television when Jones won the Tony Award for Best Actress for her role in Doubt; she thanked Paulson in her acceptance speech.

Last February, Jones told AfterEllen.com that she believes it's important to "live my life openly and freely and with joy and thanksgiving." Her presence on a network show — as only the second female president on television, after Geena Davis on ABC's short-lived Commander in Chief — will likely make her fans and the lesbian community even more grateful for that openness.

Season 7 (aka "Day 7") of 24 begins in January 2008, airing Mondays at 9:00 p.m. on Fox.

SAME-SEX ASSAULT REPORTS DRAMATICALLY RISING

I just received this press release from our friends at OutFront:

(Minneapolis) A new report shows that violence within same-sex relationships is a significant problem, but not one often reported to the police.

OutFront Minnesota’s Anti-Violence Program contributed to the national report, issued in July 2007, which details incidents and trends throughout the United States.

The Minnesota portion of the national report reflects the following trends:

· More violence is being reported in transgender relationships

· Weapons are increasingly being used in same-sex domestic violence

· Injuries committed during same-sex domestic assault are becoming more severe, often requiring medical attention

· 100% increase in the use of sexual assault during the course of domestic violence incidences

· Less than one-third of all domestic violence incidents that are reported to OutFront Minnesota’s Anti-Violence Program are reported to the police

“The landscape in Minnesota as it pertains to intimate partner violence is very serious,” said OutFront Minnesota’s Anti-Violence Program Manager Rebecca Waggoner Kloek. “And even though we’ve been working very closely with the police to create a safe environment for reporting victimization, victims are still more likely to come to our program than to the police. The whole report reflects the need to devote more resources to partnering with GLBT and non-GLBT social service providers as well as continuing to work with the police to create safe environments for victims and survivors.”

Waggoner Kloek says awareness and acceptance within the GLBT community is vitally important. “The reality of same-sex domestic violence also reflects the need within our own community to break the silence about the issue, and devote targeted resources including financial assistance and volunteer time to create safety in our community. It’s also vital to ensure that the voices of victims and survivors are heard, believed, and supported.”

The national report on same-sex domestic violence was issued by the National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs earlier this month.

PALESTINE CONFIRMS YASSAR ARAFAT DIED OF HIV/AIDS

According to a Israel Today, former Palestinian leader Yassar Arafat Died of Aids, most likely obtained from homosexual encounters:

In an interview with Hizballah's Al-Manar TV earlier this month, Ahmad Jibril, founder and leader of the Damascus-based Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command, revealed a shocking conversation he recently had with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and his staff.

Said Jibril: “When [Abbas] came to Damascus with his team, I asked them: 'What happened to the investigation into the death of [Arafat]? Is it conceivable that when [former Lebanese prime minister] Rafiq Hariri was killed, all hell broke loose, but the death of Yasser Arafat, is not investigate?”

Jibril, like many Palestinians, readily accepted the notion that Israel had assassinated Arafat, and wanted the Palestinian Authority to conduct an official investigation concluding as much. The response from Abbas' aides changed in an instant Jibril's view of his deceased mentor.

“They were silent, and then one of them said to me: 'To be honest, the French gave us the medical report, that stated that the cause of [Arafat's] death was AIDS.'”

Arafat eventually died in a Paris hospital after being airlifted out of Ramallah. Many speculated that the Palestinian leader, who was said to have had numerous homosexual relationships, had in fact contracted AIDS.

A clearly angered Jibril said that Abbas and every other member of Arafat's Fatah faction “should be happy that we got rid of the plague, which had been imposed upon them and upon the Palestinian people. The Fatah movement now has an opportunity to renew itself.

SOLDIER CHARGED WITH KNOWINGLY INFECTING 17 YEAR-OLD BOY WITH HIV

A Fort Bragg soldier is being charged with knowingly infecting a High School boy, who was 17 at the time, of HIV.

WRAL reports:

Officers arrested Pfc. Johnny Lamar Dalton, 25, after a five-month-long investigation by Fort Bragg military police and the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office. Dalton is attached to the 82nd Airborne.

Dalton first met the unidentified boy, 17, in a gay online chatroom and then in person, said the boy's mother.

In November, Dalton's commander ordered him not to have sex without first telling partners of his illness, said a spokesperson for the 82nd Airborne. Dalton also signed a written order to that effect.

However, Dalton's encounters with the boy, who was in high school, continued, said a military spokesperson.

In February, doctors conducting routine blood tests found that the teen was HIV positive.
"To him, it was like a death sentence," said the boy's mother, who said she was with her son when the doctors told them the results.

"It obviously didn't mean anything for him (Dalton) to do it, because he knew he had it (HIV), and he willingly gave it to someone else," said the victim's mother, who said she keeps her identity hidden for fear of the stigma her family might suffer.
The boy, now 18, and his mother went to Fort Bragg military police and then to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.

"My son received it (HIV) unwillingly," said the teen's mother. "If you willingly and knowingly ... and you purposefully do something, you should suffer the consequences."
After five months of investigation, officers arrested Dalton, who is married and has children, and charged him with crimes against nature, assault and assault with a deadly weapon.

Both the boy's mother and military investigators said they are worried that Dalton might have infected other people who have not come forward. The mother said she believes that the Army should have better control over soldiers known to have HIV or AIDS.

"Two families are now suffering because of an unfortunate set of circumstances, and all of us wish we could have prevented it," said Tom Earnhardt, an 82nd Airborne spokesperson.

The teen, who is now 18, is otherwise healthy and is not on medication.
Dalton is being held on $50,000 bond with a preliminary court hearing set for August 2. In addition to criminal charges, he could also be kicked out of the Army.

For the victim's mother, such charges do not erase the damage done to her son's life.
"When someone basically shortens your life, whether it's yours or your child's, you feel cheated," she said.

ELIZABETH EDWARDS SLAMS BUSH FOR ANTI-GAY POLICIES AND VOWS PROTECTION FOR GAYS AGAINST VIOLENCE

At a recent HRC event, Elizabeth Edwards expressed remorse over the senseless hate-crime death of immigrant Satendar Singh, and disgust with President Bush's lack of support for the GLBT community.

The San Jose Mercury News reported:

As she campaigns for her husband in California, Elizabeth Edwards has staked out an independent position on gay rights.

She appeared last month at a breakfast before San Francisco's gay pride parade, where she announced her support for gay marriage.

The next day, her husband, John Edwards, said her position surprised even him. The former North Carolina Sen. opposes gay marriage but supports civil unions.

Her speech Saturday to the Human Rights Campaign was an effort to reassure a crucial constituency with growing political clout that while her husband disagrees with her on gay marriage he would be a champion for legislation that would protect same-sex couples from discrimination.

Citing the story of a Sacramento man who died after witnesses said he was beaten to death by men who thought he was gay, Edwards slammed President Bush for not doing anything to help protect gays and lesbians against violence.

"This president talks a lot about good and evil and the need to seek out evil doers," she told a packed auditorium. "But he doesn't seem to recognize the evil in hate crimes. The right to live without the fear of being murdered for whom we love is not a special right."

The death of Satendar Singh (pictured above), 26,galvanized Sacramento's gay community and others who saw it as an outgrowth of anti-gay rhetoric coming from local evangelical Christian Slavic churches.

According to Singh's friends, the group that attacked him earlier this month as he was leaving a picnic at Lake Natomas were speaking Russian. Singh was punched once in the face and fell backward, hitting his head. He died July 5 after four days on life support.

Edwards said Singh's story reminded her of Matthew Shepard, the gay college student who died after he was beaten and tied to a fence in Laramie, Wyoming, in 1998.

"We were in fact reminded again while we share the lingering memory of a fence post in Laramie, the sorrow of that image is now joined by a park at Lake Natoma in Sacramento," she said. "And Matthew Shepard is joined by Satendar Singh as a martyr in that fight for justice."

Scott Wiener, a member of Human Rights Campaign's board of directors, said Elizabeth Edwards' speech conveyed to him that her husband agrees with her on most of the issues that are important to the gay community—except for one.

"He's there with us 99.9 percent. It's just on marriage, he's not there yet," Wiener said.

ARMISTEAD MAUPIN KICKS OPEN FAMOUS ACTOR/SCIENTOLOGISTS CLOSET

Tales of the City author Armistead Maupin had the kahones to say what everyone is thinking about a certain drag-donning actor at a book signing in London.

Holymoley printed a transcript:

Audience Member: "Do you get angry about the closeted gay actors in Hollywood?"

Maupin: "...of course the Church of Scientology comes in very handy. (huge laugh from audience) It's the biggest ex gay movement in America. They catch you when you're young and confused, tell you they'll look after you, even provide you with a wife and child... Then of course you have to do what they call an audit, where you confess everything you've ever done into a tape recorder, so they've got the tapes. So once you're famous and successful you have to go along with all their nonsense about people falling into volcanoes... (pause)... then you play a woman in a movie musical, a part created by a drag queen and written by a gay man..."

MAN STABS GAY MAN IN HEAD KILLING HIM IN "GOD'S JUDGEMENT"

A Texas man has confessed to targeting a gay man he met at a bar and murdering him by stabbing him in the head with a knife.

According to The Facts.com:

Terry Mark Mangum, 26, of Cypress was arrested in June on a murder charge and was indicted Thursday by a Brazoria County grand jury.

He is accused of killing Kenneth Cummings Jr., 46, in Cummings’ Pearland home June 5, then cleaning up the blood and driving to a ranch owned by Mangum’s grandfather outside Poteet to bury his body.

When told about his indictment, Mangum told The Facts through a pane of glass and a phone in a stall at the county detention center that he would plead guilty to the charges against him.

“I did it,” he said. “Bottom line is I stabbed him in the head with a knife.”

Cummings’ remains were found burned and buried at the ranch and later positively identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s office.

Contacted through Brazoria County sheriff’s officials, Mangum agreed to the face-to-face interview with The Facts at the county detention center Friday.

Mangum, who sounded energetic and upbeat, said he met Cummings at a bar in Houston that is a known hangout for homosexual men, and that he was carrying out God’s judgment and “sacrificing” Cummings’ body.

Mangum said it was “my belief of God judging him,” and Cummings “just happened to be the one that I bumped into.”

Asked if he was targeting Cummings because he was a homosexual, Mangum said, “that was the goal.”

Mangum did not specify for what he targeted Cummings, but he did say what he did was “righteous.” He said further, “I believe I’m Elijah out of the Bible.”

Elijah is a prophet noted in the Bible for challenging false idol worship and warning the ancient Israeli King Ahab of a severe drought.

Mangum’s statements to The Facts contradicted what he has told police, Brazoria County District Attorney Jeri Yenne said.

“Mr. Mangum has never denied he had met Mr. Cummings,” Yenne said. “He has denied to police killing Mr. Cummings.”

Speaking in a conversational tone, Mangum made it a point to say he was not homosexual.Mangum had told police he was looking at homosexual men at gay bars because he believed they had more money and could meet some of his expenses to attend a welding school, Yenne said. He did not tell police he specifically targeted Cummings for murder, she said.

When contacted by The Facts about Mangum’s confession, Cummings’ father, Kenneth Cummings Sr. of Texas City, asked if stabbing his son in the head would be “enough to knock him out?”

Cummings then declined to comment about his son’s death.

“In view of the fact that there’s going to be a trial, I don’t think I should say anything,” he said.

Cummings Sr. has told Houston media that his son was a peacemaker and that he was saving up money for his 4-year-old niece and 18-month-old nephew to attend college.

Mangum told police in interviews that he followed Cummings to his home to drink and that Cummings had given Mangum his wallet and allowed him to use his credit cards. The Houston Chronicle has reported Mangum used Cummings’ credit cards at various convenience stores in San Antonio and Schulenburg, both along Interstate 10 and between San Antonio and Houston, to purchase sodas, hydrogen peroxide and cigarettes.

Because Mangum indicated he killed Cummings because of his sexual orientation, Yenne said she would seek a hate crime enhancement to Mangum’s murder charge.

“This would seriously affect his ability to receive parole,” she said.

Mangum also has been charged with tampering with evidence and possessing and fraudulent use of identifying information. Those charges are based on allegations he used Cummings’ credit cards during the drive to dispose of Cummings’ body and that he cleaned up Cummings’ home after the murder, police said.

Pearland police searched Cummings’ home in Pearland after he was reported missing in June and found many blood remnants that could only be found with what police called an “alternative light source” and chemical agents, court documents state. They also found broken pieces of glass and many items that had been “disturbed,” indicating signs of a struggle, court documents state.

Police then searched Mangum’s home and found a bloody sock and found cleaning agents inside his truck. Mangum also had Cummings’ wallet, credit cards and checkbook when his home was searched, court documents state. Police also noted Mangum had several cuts on his thumbs, court documents state.

Mangum admitted to The Facts that he took and used Cummings’ credit cards.

When asked why he hid Cummings’ body at his grandfather’s land in Poteet when he felt he was “righteous” in killing him, Mangum said, “I didn’t know where else to go.”

Mangum was being held Friday on $500,000 bond.

FLORIDA REUBLICAN REPRESENTATIVE BOB ALLEN ARRESTED FOR SOLICITATION OF GAY-SEX

John McCain campainger, and Florida Republican Represntative Bob Allen claims he's innocent of soliciting sex from an undercover policeman in a park restroom for 20$.

PageOneQ posted the arresting officer's report (a warning: it's graphic-so tell kiddies to go watch TV)

"On 11 July 2007 at approximately 1533 hours I was conducting a plain clothes investigation in the area of 10 Broad Street (Space View Park). I observed a white male driving a silver 4 door Toyota pull into the driveway, which is a roundabout, twice within a matter of moments. I recall this because I was conducting surveillance in an attempt to capture a burglar in a nearby condominium and I was concerned about counter-surveillance.

"I observed Allen walk into the men's restroom ... I then observed Allen leave the restroom and walk towards a park bench. I then entered the bathroom to adjust my police radio. On my way out of the restroom I almost bumped into Allen who was on his way into the restroom again. Allen changed his course of direction when he saw that I was leaving the restroom and went back towards his park bench. I talked with the other officers again and then entered the bathroom and began washing my hands. Allen entered the the restroom behind me and proceeded into the first stall.

"I realized there were no paper towels to dry my hands so I walked into the handicap stall to dry my hands. As I stood in the stall drying my hands I observed Allen look over the door of my stall and make eye contact with me. Allen then stepped away and then came back to the door of my stall and looked in, making eye contact with me again.

"I said 'hey buddy' and Allen said 'hi' and then stepped away again. About 5 seconds later Allen pushed open the door to my stall and stepped inside. I was standing againste the far wall of the stall . Allen closed the door behind him and stood against it. I said 'What's up?' and Allen again said 'hi.' Allen then said, 'this is kind of a public place isn't it?' I said, 'do you have somewhere else we can go?' Allen said, 'How about across the bridge, it's quiet over there.' Allen engaged me in a conversation in which it was agreed that he would pay me $20 in order to perform a 'blow job' on me. Allen stated that he wanted me to ride with him across the river before he performed the act and gave me the money. Before entering Allen's vehicle I identified myself as a police officer and detained him."

JOHN MCCAIN WORRIED HIS "GAY SWEATERS" ARE UNDERMINING HIS CAMPAIGN

Radar reports John McCain is reportedly blaming the flaccid state of his candidacy on the fact that his advisers made him wear "gay sweaters".

According to one insider, the knit-picking was the crescendo of a tirade by the Arizona senator, in which he blistered aides about the minutiae of the campaign. While many septuagenarians live in a perpetual state of sweater weather, McCain reportedly declared his frustration with being told to don the perceived homosexual outerwear in order to look younger and more approachable.

"He wasn't happy being dictated to. The sweaters were part of that," the source says.

The Mr. Rogers-inspired wardrobe was on its finest display last spring, when the candidate wore a roomy black snuggly while standing under the pounding Iraq sun. Washington insiders wondered why the campaign would place the candidate in such obviously awkward garb.

While it may seem as if the senator is screaming at the rain, one source from a rival campaign explains the real importance of Sweater-gate. "Do those [unflattering] sweaters matter in the grand scheme of things? Probably not. But it's indicative of how [McCain] lost his way. He just allowed himself to be managed into oblivion."

The McCain campaign did not officially respond for comment, but one source that has been close to the senator poses the question most J. Crew shoppers are no doubt asking: "How can a crew-neck sweater make you look gay? They make him look silly, sure. Old, too. But not gay. That's Romney's department."

BIG BROTHER'S NICK STARCEVIC'S BIG GAY CONFESSION

Big Brother contestant Nick Starcevic made a surprising hot-tub confession during this week's episode regarding his same-sex experiences, and has a possible gay-porn past:

Nick Starcevic, a former college and pro football player, fitness model, and Abercrombie & Fitch store manager, has not only made the hot tub admission that he has performed oral sex on a guy, he's been caught on the cameras spooning Joe, one half of the gay former couple. While contestants in the past have been known to work the gay angle to curry favor, the strategies here have gotten off to a fast and furious start.

Check out Towleroad for photos as well as video of the aforementioned hot-tub confession and details of the possible gay-porn history.

CLAY AIKEN HAS IN FLIGHT FIGHT WITH FEMALE PASSENGER

Yahoo reports
American Idol alumni Clay Aiken got into a bit of turbulence with a fellow passenger during a flight to Tulsa.

The 2003 "American Idol" runner-up was on the Saturday morning Continental Airlines flight for a evening show, and concertgoers said afterward that Aiken joked on-stage about being beaten up by a girl earlier in the day.

FBI Special Agent Gary Johnson told the Tulsa World there was a dispute between a male passenger and a woman on the flight. He said the man was a former "American Idol" contestant but did not give his name.

Johnson said the dispute was over the male passenger's foot resting on the woman's armrest. He said there was an allegation the woman gave the male passenger a "minor shove" during the argument.

"At that point the flight crew was able to resolve the situation," Johnson said.

Tulsa Airport Authority spokeswoman Alexis Higgins said the passengers were held until FBI agents arrived to interview them.

No injuries were reported and the disturbance did not interfere with the flight of the aircraft, Johnson said. The U.S. Attorney's Office declined to file charges, he said.

Telephone calls and e-mails from The Associated Press to Aiken's publicist and manager in Los Angeles were not returned Sunday.

Perez Hilton however had a slightly different take on the matter:

Things are not always what they seem.

We just got this email in our Inbox about The Gayken’s airplane altercation on Saturday.

I work for the airline he was on. Attached is a picture a fellow staffer took. I wish to remain anonymous but I had to send you the real story. We got a call from the Captain who said the Clay was being “bothered” by a fan. This was while the flight was still in the air. When the flight landed, the FBI was called because the flight attendant had said that Mr. Aiken was belligerent. All passengers were questioned. We heard nothing of a passenger who assaulted Mr., Aiken. In fact, it was Mr. Aiken and his ego that had the crew concerned and the Captain wanted the police at the gate on arrival into Tulsa. The woman in the picture is the supposed fan who bothered Mr. Aiken. Doesn’t look like she could hurt a fly.

Sorry for the poor picture quality. It was taken with a cell phone. I will send you another picture in a second e-mail of Mr. Aiken filling out paperwork in the jetway. No one else was asked to fill out any paperwork.

Hmmmmm.

Inneresting!

We’re definitely inclined to belive this version of the events.

St. PAUL SEX-OFFENDER ARRESTED FOR ARMED ROBBERY

A level 3 sex-offender who was the subject of a St. Paul Police manhunt Tuesday, has been apprehended and charged with robbery and burglary.

The Pioneer Press reports:

On Tuesday, officer Matthew Yunker had been called to the SuperAmerica station at 756 Snelling Ave. at 6:17 a.m. about a robbery, a criminal complaint said. A cashier told police he had been about to drop cash into a secure compartment for storage when a man, wearing a sky blue jersey "and appearing dirty," came up behind him, put a screwdriver to his stomach and took the money, the complaint said.

The man left with about $200 in a U-Haul truck with an Arizona license plate, the complaint said. A customer at the store wrote down the license plate when she saw a man running from inside the store and hurriedly getting into the U-Haul, the complaint said.

The cashier said the man who robbed him had been in the store about 3 a.m. that day, the complaint said.

Before going to the robbery call, Yunker had been responding to a call about a domestic dispute between a woman and her boyfriend, Brian M. Husnick, at a nearby home in the 700 block of Hamline Avenue, the complaint said.

It was reported that Husnick, 31, was wearing a blue jersey and driving a U-Haul, the complaint said. Yunker knew Husnick from previous contacts and had seen him driving a U-Haul truck in St. Paul at about 3:30 a.m., the complaint said.

After looking for Husnick all day Tuesday, police found him on Sherburne Avenue about 6:30 p.m. He struggled with police and was arrested, the complaint said.

The gas station clerk was shown a photo line-up and identified Husnick as the man who robbed him, the complaint said.

Police believe Husnick burglarized an unoccupied home in the 600 block of Snelling Avenue while he was on the run Tuesday, though he hasn't been charged in that incident.

Husnick's criminal history has included attempting to engage in sexual contact with women while burglarizing homes, according to the Minnesota Department of Corrections. He didn't know the women, the department said.

He has used a screwdriver as a weapon in a previous attack, according to court records.

Husnick was also charged today with burglarizing A. Johnson & Sons Florist at 1738 Grand Ave. on June 14. Police had been called to the store about 3:30 a.m., after a neighbor reported hearing a loud noise, the complaint said.

When the neighbor looked out his window, he saw a man carrying a mannequin dressed in a wedding gown out of the store, the complaint said. Police found a store window broken.

Investigators reviewed video surveillance from the store and recognized the burglar as Husnick, the complaint said.

A sergeant who went to Husnick's father's home in the 700 block of Hamline Avenue, where Husnick also lived, found a wedding dress on a mannequin in the living room, the complaint said. The store identified it as belonging to them, the complaint said.

Husnick is being held in the Ramsey County jail and is scheduled to make a first appearance in court today.

UPDATE: BIKINI-CLAD FIREFIGHTER COPS A PLEA

A Mason Ohio man, who we previously reported was arrested while wearing a bikini and blond wig in a public park, has copped a plea to avoid a charge of public indecency.

365gay.com reports:

Steven S. Cole, a former volunteer firefighter, pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and disorderly conduct.

Municipal Court Judge George Parker sentenced Cole to attend a mandatory driver intervention program and placed him on two years' probation. Cole was ordered to stay out of the city's public parks during that time and pay a $250 fine.

Parker also suspended Cole's driving privileges for six months, except for work, counseling sessions, family appointments and visits with his probation officer.

Police arrested Cole on April 4 in his truck as he was leaving Heritage Oak Park in this Cincinnati suburb after parents complained about a man dressed in women's clothing. (story)

Police said they found an open, half-empty bottle of beer in the truck, along with a gym bag containing wigs, bikinis, silver go-go boots and other women's garments.

Cole's blood-alcohol test registered 0.17, more than twice Ohio's legal driving limit of 0.08, police said.

The arrest report said Cole told an officer he was on his way to a bar in Dayton to perform as a woman in a contest offering a $10,000 prize.

DUREX LOOKING FOR CONDOM-TESTERS

A major condom company is looking for volunteers to test its various types of prophylactics:

Yahoo News reports:

Durex said 200 adult Australians — men and women — are wanted to test a range of its condoms.

While the successful applicants will not be paid, each will receive a pack of Durex sex products, a chance to win 1,000 Australian dollars ($857 U.S.), plus professional prestige, the company said in a statement.

"Who wouldn't want to have a chance with an actual authorized professional?" Durex marketing manager Sam White asked.

"Durex is expecting thousands of applicants," the statement said.

Hopefuls must explain in their applications why they would make "expert" condom testers.

How they test the condoms is not specified, but testers must provide honest feedback about how they find the products.

No deadline is set for evaluating a range of four condoms and other sex products.

SEX AND THE CITY MOVIE GETS GREEN-LIGHT

According to E! News, queer-favorite Sex and the City will finally receive it's long awaited movie treatment.

After three years of near-incessant rumblings that Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes, Charlotte York and Samantha Jones would rendezvous for one more round of cosmos, E! News has confirmed that HBO and New Line Cinema have teamed up to finally give the girls the big-screen sendoff (or, possibly, rebirth) fans have been waiting for.
Sources say that production on the long-gestating, headline-grabbing movie version will begin early this fall with all four leading ladies—Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall—set to reprise their iconic roles.
New Line's offices are closed for the Independence Day holiday, but an official announcement is expected next week.

A Sex and the City film has been rumored since 2004, when in her flurry of exit interviews, Parker assuaged fan fears with none-too-subtle hints that the HBO zeitgeist show's series finale wouldn't mean the last of the fab foursome.
But as anticipation grew, so too apparently did Cattrall's demands. In 2005, when the other three actresses were all locked in to the project, Cattrall reportedly held out for a payday on par with Parker's, whose salary was greater than her costars due to her added role as executive producer.

After more tabloid-ready reports of infighting between the women surfaced, along with rumors that Cattrall was also seeking script approval, the project stalled and plans for the film seemed irreparable.

Earlier this year, however, both Parker and Cattrall gave new hope to Sex addicts.
While out promoting her new clothing line, Bitten, Parker fielded the inevitable questions about a big-screen reunion.

"Never say never," she said. "It was such a great show, it would be fantastic to go back."
The Emmy winner also put the kibosh on speculation that a supposed rift between costars scuttled the Sex and the City movie. "It is a very complicated puzzle to put back," she said, "but not for the reason that people speculate about, because as far as I know, all of the actresses want to be together again for this movie."

Cattrall chimed in that she had not ruled out reprising her man-devouring role.
"With regard to a movie, I really can't say," she said. "There is a lot of speculation but, just put it this way, I don't want to jinx anything."

When the show ended its HBO run in 2004, each of the women wound up paired off with her beau: Carrie with Mr. Big, Miranda with Steve, Charlotte with Harry and Samantha with Smith. While no deals have been inked to bring the menfolk back, negotiations for supporting players are expected to begin closer to the production date, with Chris Noth expected to reprise his Big role.

Details of the script are being kept under tight wraps, although it's unlikely the film will pick up immediately where the series left off, if for no other reason than the slight aging of the actresses.

Longtime executive producer Michael Patrick King has already written the film and will also serve as director. King will also produce the pic alongside Parker, series producer John Melfi and series creator Darren Star.

GAY MAN CONVICTED OF RAPE AND MURDER OF CO-WORKER SENTENCED TO LIFE

A Chicago Illinois Gay-Man who raped and murdered a co-worker he says was harassing him because of his homosexuality, has been spared the death-penalty and been sentenced to life behind bars.

The Chicago Tribune reports:

After several days of testimony last week, Circuit Judge William Lacy sentenced Gutierrez to life in prison for the 2002 killing of Mary Stachowicz, 51, a mother of four. "I think the judge was fair, but as the daughter of the victim, knowing what he did to my mother, he absolutely, 100 percent deserved the death penalty," said Angie Ruffolo, standing with a crowd of relatives at the Criminal Courts Building after the sentencing. "It's been excruciatingly long, almost five years now, and I'm happy we'll never have to come here again," she said.

In November, a jury convicted Gutierrez of the sexual assault and murder. Gutierrez, who worked with Stachowicz briefly at F.J. Sikorski Funeral Home on the Northwest Side, battered, stabbed and strangled her, prosecutors said.

Days after the murder, authorities found the body in a crawl space beneath the floorboards of Gutierrez's apartment, wrapped in plastic and sheets.

Prosecutors had sought the death penalty, describing Gutierrez as a man who sexually abused a female relative and another young girl when he still was a child. Gutierrez's attorneys argued that the killer did not deserve death because he was himself abused physically, emotionally and sexually as a child. Before being placed in the state's custody at about 10, he was raised by a mother who was addicted to alcohol and cocaine, they said.

Carol Garza, a woman who said she partied several nights a week with Gutierrez's mother, testified that the women did drugs in Gutierrez's home three or four times a week for a decade. At those times, Gutierrez was locked in another room of the apartment, Garza said.

Stachowicz's children were "fortunate enough to have as loving, as kind a mother as a child could possibly have," said Gutierrez's attorney Bernard Sarley, citing phrases from statements read by Stachowicz's children during sentencing as proof.

After sitting through hours of lurid details on how their mother was killed, some relatives said what hurt most at the sentencing was that the defense used the family's own words to defend Gutierrez.

"It was wrong for them to turn our victim-impact statements against us," said Chris Stachowicz, the murder victim's son. "It's disrespectful to my mother and to our family."

JUDGE RULES BEATING OF TRANSEXUAL NOT A HATE-CRIME

A Palm Beach Juvenile Court Judge has ruled that the severe beating of a man because of his transexualilty by a teenaged-male was not a hate-crime.

Our lovely and talented friends at 365gay.com report:

Judge Peter Blanc ruled that the teen, who cannot be named because he was a minor at the time of the crime, is guilty of aggravated battery, but tossed out the hate crime charge.

At the time of his arrest the teen told police that he and a friend had gone out to pick up some girls and met the 39-year old victim outside a local bar.

The teen said that the victim performed oral sex on him in the friend's car and then agreed to go to the beach with him. The teen told police that as they were "making out" on the beach he felt a male organ.

He then began to beat the victim, whose name also has been withheld. After realizing he had left his cell phone in the car he walked to the vehicle, retrieved it returned to the victim and began hitting her with it.

A witness told the court that the teen forced the victim to her knees while he pummeled her face. He then slammed her head against the side of a lifeguard stand.

A police officer who questioned the teen testified that he seemed arrogant and said he had beat the woman until his hand was sore.

The teen's attorney said that his client acted out of self defense, claiming the victim had threatened to kill him and his family if he ruined her reputation by disclosing she was transsexual.

Judge Blanc discarded the self defense argument saying that when the teen first walked away from the victim he did not have to return and continue the beating.

But he said that although the teen was guilty of assault, it did not rise to a hate crime.

The victim has denied having any sexual activity with the teen.
